2012 Arts Guild Award Presentations
In 2012, the Stevenage Arts Guild were delighted to be able to provide support for 9 young people who are currently studying towards or working to develop a career in the Arts.
The awards are designed to help them improve their standard of performance by contributing towards the cost of a new instrument or provide equipment for their studies.
The 2012 recipients were:
Emily Dunn, who is studying for a degree
in musical theatre at Arts Education School
Lara Crowley, studying saxophone and clarinet at Trinity college of Music
Alex Crowley, studying for a BTEC in Interactive Media at Hertfordshire Regional College
Damani Williams, studying at Elmhurst School
for Dance in Birmingham
Beatrice Hubble, studying the oboe
B Huckle
G Evans
Jodie Charles, a young dancer who has been selected to represent
England in the world dance cup in Austria, and will use the award to
help with travel and accomodation costs.

Applications for the annual awards scheme open from January to April each year - with the awards presented in May or June.
