Edward Gordon Craig - 50 Years On
Our theatre is named after him… but who was Edward Gordon Craig?
50 years after his death, Stevenage Arts Guild, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund,
created a series of exhibitions and events throughout to celebrated the life and work of the town’s forgotten son who became a radical and visionary theatrical pioneer
of the "art of theatre".
To learn more, visit the website that was created with information on the man and his work and videos from leading academics and people who worked alongside Craig
