in the Park > About
"Rock in the Park" is held in June in Fairlands
Valley park in Stevenage.
A sprawling field, with a large lake in the centre, Fairlands
Valley is the perfect venue for an event like this as it's
dimensions act as a natural amplifier and you can see the
main stage from just about every angle.
It's easy to get to, just a couple of minutes drive from
the A1 (1.2 miles from Junction 7), and a short walk from
the centre of town / Stevenage Rail station.
The last Rock in the Park was held in 2008 and it is hoped
to stage another event in June 2011 to co-incide with the
Stevenage Festival.
