The Arts in Stevenage
The Stevenage Arts Guild was founded in the 1950's
to encourage, to sustain and to co-ordinate the artistic
endevours of the people of Stevenage.
The Arts Guild has a wide range of members -from the
performing arts, choirs and orchestras to floral arts,
photographic societies and locomotive societies.
This web site aims to provide information on the services
that the Arts Guild provides and listings of events
and contact details for the various groups.

Symphony
Stevenage Symphony Orchestra
Cambridge Sinfonietta and Stevenage Symphony Orchestra
join forces to perform Mahler's Symphony No 1 in the
beautiful setting of Ashwell Parish Church. Programme
also includes Mozart Sinfonia Concertante and Strauss
Serenade for 13 Wind Instruments

Stevenage Arts Guild operates an annual awards
scheme which is open to young people who live
in Stevenage or have attended a Stevenage secondary
school.
